Well, it's been 3 months since I have posted anything. Lily is 18 months old and we are about to take her on her first vaca! We will be going to Colorado Springs for some outdoor fun with my parents and grandparents. Since the spring and summer have come, she has been having a blast. We are outside a lot. There is a small waterpark 3 blocks down that is just for kids. She loves the slide there. Well, I won't write anymore...........just pictures!

Hey there family and friends! It's been a month, but I don't take near as many pics now as when she was a baby. She is 14 months old! She's getting prissy with a little bit of attitude thrown in. She likes pizza, ice cream and peanut butter! Other than that she is still eating baby foods because she doesn't like lumpy textures. My mom says I was the same way. Enjoy the pictures! In one of them she was eating a cream puff......

Wow! It's been a while since I've updated anything. Lily turned 1 year old in November. She had a good time at her party even though she had a respiratory infection. She got lots of clothes and toys. Here are a few pics of her eating her cake. She was sooo clean for a baby! I didn't even have to give her a bath afterwards.

Then came Christmas. More toys and a few clothing items. Her favorite present was from her Aunt Cari. It is a little car that has a handle on the back for mommy to push her around in. She learned how to get in and out of it within the day and she knows that she needs someone to push her in it. So we go around and around the house about 10 times, and when I stop she kicks her feet and jumps up and down in the car for me to keep going. When she wants to watch a video she will push it up in front of the tv and sit in it! She spends most of her day either in it or around it. She's developing quite a personality and it's so much fun to watch! The best news of all was that there was only one ornament broken!

Here we are at the park. We were the only people there that day. She's becoming a pro at walking and running. She still falls down some, but she gets right back up and keeps going. I don't have much to write, so I'll just fill up space with pictures! Later...

Well, halloween is over and I only got 2 pictures. Neither of them are very good, but I will post them anyway. She's walking a lot and she got soooo excited with all the kids at the church party that she just ran everywhere. There wasn't time to get a picture. Her costume was supposed to be a sunflower, but she wouldn't keep the hat on. That's okay, she made a real cute stem!! Thanks to Gigi, (my mom) for buying Lily the costume. We have some pictures at the park that I will post later. Bye!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch last week. It was cold and windy, but we managed to get a few shots in between the spurts of fussiness. This is actually a picture of a page in her baby book. We are going to another pumpkin patch and we have "hallelujah night" at the church on Monday, so look for pictures of that next week. Nothing has really happened since last week, so I will write more when I get the other pictures put on. The one below is a picture of Lily by the pumpkins in the front yard. Later!

Here's my baby in our front yard. Since she has started walking it's easier to take her out to play. She follows me everywhere!

The weather here is awesome!! Fall is here! It's in the upper 30's in the morning and warms up to the low 70's in the afternoon. It makes dressing her extremely difficult. Most of the day I leave her in her jammies since they are so warm. We are completely settled in, all the boxes are unpacked and we are living daily life and havin' a blast doing it. We went back to Fort Worth in October to visit our family. It was a long drive there! We made the mistake of leaving mid-morning, thinking it would be easier on John and I to drive during the day rather than risk falling asleep at the wheel around midnight. Needless to say that on the way back we got up at 3:45 AM and left while Lily was still sleeping. That was much better!! Even the best babies can turn sour on a long car ride. Lesson learned. But the rest of the trip was great. Lily got to play with her cousin Madison and see her favorite long distance Aunt, Nai-nai. Much Love, write later.........Alysa and Lily

Since we moved away from all friends and family I have decided to create this blog so you all can keep up with Lily's growing days! She just keeps getting cuter and cuter and her personality is really coming through. She is trying to run already, even though she hasn't quite mastered the walk, and her finger has found her nose. I'm not sure she knows what she's doing in there, but it seems to amuse her for a few seconds. She has two bottom teeth and 4 uppers, and she may be getting a few more. Her first birthday is coming up next month! You can send her presents early if you want!! Well, enjoy the latest pictures.
